The Zero Conditional
The zero conditional is used to state an actual fact, generally referring to scientific phenomena or things that are always true. In a zero conditional, both clauses will be presented in the present simple; however, the time can be now or any other time as what is mentioned is a case of common and constant fact.

零條件句是用來陳述實際的情況，一般都是不變的真理、科學現象等等。在零條件句，兩個子句都是用現在「簡單式」。雖為簡單式，但時間指的是現在或任何時候，因為所講的是一個普遍真實的情況。

例句
If you don't take care of me, I cannot take care of you.

假如你們不照顧我，我也無法照顧你們。

If you eat too much, you gain weight.

要是你吃太多，你就會變胖。

I can't sleep if I drink coffee at night.

假如我晚上喝太多咖啡，我就會睡不著。
