Solving Problems a New Way
1.Plan
Think about your problem and form a hypothesis for how to solve it .
Let's say you want to get to school on time.
Usually you ride the bus.
You decide to ask your mom to take you on her scooter instead.
2.Do
Now it's time to put your plan to the test.
This is also the phase where you start to gather data.
Be sure to take note of important details such as the time you arrive at school.
3.Study
Consider the effects of your experiment.
Did you get to school on time?
What other factors are there to account for?
Maybe riding with your mom was faster, but it rained , so you get wet.
4.Act
Now you put your changes into action and try your new hypothesis again.
Perhaps you determine that it's faster to ride with your mom.
But you need to take a rain jacket.
Keep repeating the cycle so that you can constantly improve.
