A Reunion in Asia
Cousins reunite in Japan

"Melissa." I shouted in delight, "I can't believe i am here in Japan with you.

You haven't changed a bit.
I gave my cousin a big hug.

"We have so much to catch up on."

It had been over 12 years since Melissa and i had last seen each other.

Who would have guessed that Asia would bring us back together?

Family history

Growing up, i always loved the big gatherings of my family.

Often , we would meet at the beach.

Hour after hour, my family would swim in the ocean and build sand castles.

Unfortunately, those reunions started occurring less and less often.

Eventually, we all lost touch with each other .

Then my cousin Melissa moved to Japan.

"I will never see her again," I thought.

"Why would anyone moved halfway around the world?

Years later, to everyone's surprise, i moved to Taiwan .

Although living in Asia was never part of my plan , it now holds a special place in my heart.

But one thing i miss more than anything was family.

Then Melissa came to my mind.
