Should You Stay home when you're sick

I doubt that Tammy will start skipping class just because she stayed home while she was sick.

What about her classwork?
She must have missed a lot of assignments.

Not really, She didn't miss anything too important last week.
She just did some extra homework to catch up.

That's good. But i would be worried about Sarah missing crucial information for a test.
Illness shouldn't get in the way of learning?

What's about other kids?
Colds are highly contagious.
If one person goes to school sick, he or she will infect others.

Maybe they will and maybe they won't.
Still , i don't want my daughter to miss school because of a cold and get poor grades.

But if she's sick , she won't be able to think clearly during class.
She can at least try to take notes.
When someone is sick, they need to rest.

Rest might be helpful, but i think taking medicine should be enough to keep students in class.
Anyway, i'm glad Tammy is feeling better and is back in school.
