The Present Perfect Continuous

The present perfect continuous tense is used to indicate that an action that started at some point in the past has been ongoing up until the present. The present perfect tense, formed by using the subject + have/has + been, is used to express something that has been completed up until now or an experience that has been had in the past. For example, in this lesson's sentence "We've been on various plateaus," the phrase "have been on" is used to describe an experience rather than a completed action.

現在完成進行式用以表示過去某一時刻開始的動作持續到現在，並且還在進行中。由主詞 + have/has + been 構成的現在完成式，則是用來表達：「到目前為止已經完成的事」或「曾經有過的經驗」。
