不定詞（to+V）的用法
To-infinitive

"To + base form of a verb" forms an infinitive, which is often compared to a gerund. Just like a gerund, an infinitive phrase can function as a noun, adjective, or complement. Generally speaking, verbs that express intention or desire, such as "want," "hope," "need," and "choose," are usually followed by the infinitive "to" plus the base form of a verb (to + V).

「to + 原型動詞」即構成不定詞，常與動名詞做比較。其實就像動名詞一樣，可以將不定詞片語看作「名詞、形容詞、補語」。一般而言，如 want、hope、need、choose 等表示「意圖、欲望」的動詞，習慣上搭配不定詞 to V。
