South by Southwest

With the official slogan "Live Music Capital of the World,"
Austin is the perfect place for South by Southwest.

And though it's a well-known musical festival , it's also a conference covering many topics.

Sessions are offered in many formats, including speakers, one-on-one meetings and demos.

In its 30th year, SXSW registered over 30000 people to attend its various performances and meetings.

Still , it's only right to first introduce SXSW's music elements as over 2200 acts filled over 100 venues last year.

The free concerts at the festival's Outdoor Stage were attended by more than 50000 alone.

But besides the show, the conference touches on issues like inspiration , social media at concerts and high-resolution audio.

Many people also enjoy hearing the likes of John Legend , rocker Bruce as speakers.

Also, new guitar pedals , synthesisers and music apps can be tested and purchased at the Music Gear Expo.
